Kawasaki Concours

Kawasaki manufactured the venerable Concours, ZG1000 from model year 1986 to 2006, before replacing it with the Concours14.
The Concours (known in Europe as GTR1000), is a 1000cc, six speed, four cylinder, liquid-cooled, sport-touring motorcycle with shaft drive. The bike can reach speeds over 100 mph, offers nimble handling and – with its full fairing, tall screen, twin locking panniers, and 7.5 US gallon fuel capacity – is suited to cross-country, two-up touring. Although no longer manufactured, since there were so many built over 20 years, they are still readily available in the used market and will give any sport-touring rider the biggest bang for their buck.
